Ohio Glass Museum

The Ohio Glass Museum, Lancaster, Ohio incorporated in February 2002 will be opening in the Fall of 2005. Located at 126 W Main St, it will become the fourth unique museum in downtown Lancaster, joining the The Georgian Museum on Wheeling St, the Sherman House museum on E Main St. along side the Decorative Arts of Ohio.

Lancaster has long been home to the glass industry because of the abundance of natural gas and sand. Many glass companies both industrial and art glass have located in this area.
